Working With Laura
After 20 years of working individually with clients, the first decade as a therapist, the second as a life coach, I have decided, after much deliberation, to bring that aspect of my work to a close.

That does not mean, however, that my work on the planet is done. In fact, in many ways my work through NoSafeDistance is just about to begin in earnest. As I state on the home page, I do envision this site as an ever growing and evolving resource for individuals facing significant life transitions. Of particular focus, which will be of little surprise to those who know me best, will be end of life transitions and how we cultivate relationships that remain vital and continue to deepen "until death do us part", whether with our spouses, our parents, our loved ones or our friends.

How I bring that about through this site, and what my work with and for you will look like is going through significant transformation here. I'm not yet prepared to share it all with you publicly but do know that I have a very clear vision for what I would like to bring to you and am working hard behind the scenes. The first step in evolving my work is to create the space personally and professionally for that to occur; hence the decision to no longer accept individual clients.

I do invite you to visit
my blog to stay abreast of developments in the time ahead. If you have not been there before, there are many indepth articles categorized for you on many aspects of navigating life transitions and building healthy and rewarding relationships. You may want to make a cup of tea before you head over. I hear people can get immersed over there and I'm glad for that. A lot of heart goes into my work.

I look forward to having you on this journey. We have much to explore. I'm in the thick of it myself right now and will have many notes from the trail for you.

Namaste,

Laura
